Bubble and Squeak offers grooming services, dog walking, house sitting, animal behaviour correction and organic grooming supplies and treats. Grooming is done in an environment familiar to your dog - we come to your house! Our groomer, Kelly Johnston, has completed various grooming and animal behaviour courses. Not only does she know the tricks to calm your dog during grooming, but she can also assist you with some of your furry best friend's less well-behaved antics! Dogs, cats and rabbits need their coat to be brushed daily. The area around the eyes and the ears should also be cleaned daily - be careful, at most use a saline solution. Dogs need a proper grooming every month. Nails of all pets need to be clipped regularly.
Non stop barking or destructive behaviour could be because your furry is not getting enough physical and mental exercise. Walking in nature is great for burning excess energy and providing mental stimulation. The frequency of walks required varies, but not everyone has the time to walk their dog daily. This is when you may have to find a reliable dog walker to assist you.
There are many theories about why dogs do what they do. Almost any "bad behaviour" can be corrected. Some methods are cruel and degrading to dogs. Bubble and Squeak does not support any method that harms an animal. Patience, love and the right reward at the right time can work miracles.
Clipping (scissors and clippers) is also called shaving. Stripping (by hand or using a comb) is when you pull the overcoat out.The terrier in the photo should be stripped, but this photo shows her clipped. Clipping is much faster and cheaper.
